I'm selling the hot tub that's on my back deck in Saint Charles, IL (west suburbs - an hour from the city, an hour from skydive chicago). it's a Jacussi 'Corsica' 1996 hot tub. It runs on 240volts electric. It's advertised as an 8 person hot tub but they'd have to be 8 small people if they're not going to cause the water to overflow. I'd call it a 6-7 person hot tub.

New the hot tub was $4,500. Currently, the outside paneling is a little beat up (a visual thing only); it has a brand new $300 cover. The motors, heater, air pumps, and everything work great (one of the motors is brand new), there are some small stress cracks between the bubble holes inside but they're cracks into an underwater area so it doesn't leak at all.

One of the blow switches gets stuck now and then. It could be replaced by a $40 part and I can show you how to fiddle with it to get it working again. One of the push buttons needs to be replaced; probably a $15 part and you can currently work around the issue by using another switch.

I'm selling it, the fuse box, whatever chemicals I have left, and the brand new cover for $1,000. If you need to have electric run to it you're probably looking at $150 done professionally or half the price if you do it yourself. I'll even throw in the fuse box for it. If you end up replacing the parts i mentioned, having it professionally installed, and pay your friends $100 in beer and pizza to help you move it you're still looking at a hot tub for under $1,400 and a day of work installing it.
