Not sure where to ask this so here goes.  I am part of a group that is diving July 14th.  I would like to take a camera with me.  What is aloud and not.  thanks

First off, I am not an instructor, so this is all my point of view. Double check everything with an instructor / S&TA. You can call Manifest and they should be able to give you an answer or direct you to someone who can if you don't get a reply here

How many jumps have you made / how current are you? Generally I've heard most people recommend between 150 and 200 jumps before beginning to jump with a camera. If you are doing a tandem, this probably won't be allowed. Jumping with a camera introduces a whole new set of problems that could occur ranging from risers getting caught on the mounting bracket/camera to you getting target fixation on what you are shooting, and losing track of those around you or the altitude.

There's nothing wrong with jumping a camera as long as you can be safe doing so. Make sure you talk with an actual instructor before you do anything
