SDC Friends: Today I had to call a dropzone out of state to ask some questions about an upcoming trip. It is the second time I had to call to obtain some very basic information that frankly could have been answered on their web site or in email. Apparently the "contact" us section means nothing because two weeks later and no response. Thus the reason for my call. The person answering the call acted as if I was bothering her and I received very curt one syllable responses. Mind you, this call was made at 16:30 on a Wednesday in February. Not a real busy skydiving time. It took this very unprofessional moment to make me realize how lucky we are to have SDC as our home dropzone. I am sure I have asked some real stupid questions over the past two years while interacting with our manifest staff and other SDC professionals, but I have always been treated with dignity and respect. I have never felt like I was bothering anyone and I have found the entire SDC staff to be friendly, fun and helpful. Compliments to our staff. |
